About Me
I’m a licensed mental health counselor and proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals facing complex emotional and behavioral challenges. From 2010 to 2014, I served as a corporal with two deployments to Afghanistan. That experience shaped the values I bring to my clinical work today—resilience, integrity, and a deep commitment to service.
My counseling experience spans both residential and outpatient settings, where I’ve supported clients navigating Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Complex PTSD (CPTSD), Substance Use Disorders (SUD), and a range of other mental health challenges. I have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I incorporate DBT skills, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care to help clients develop greater emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
As a longtime resident of the Lansing area, I’m honored to serve the community I call home. I’m especially passionate about working with veterans and trauma survivors—creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth are possible.
Outside of the therapy room, I’ve been married to my wife for over 11 years. We live locally with our golden retriever, Luna, who keeps us both active and entertained.
